Whale Watching during January 2017

On the 14th November a 7.8 earthquake shook our wee town in the small hours of the morning along with the surrounding districts around us. The earthquake was powerful enough to lift the sea bed floor along the Kaikoura coastline. It took 6 weeks before we were able to be back out whale watching.

January 2nd 2016 was our first day back out at sea commercially, since then we have had such amazing sightings of whales, dolphins, NZ fur seals and marine birds. We are so thankful for the many people who have come to visit not only our business but our beautiful town.

We hope you enjoy this video of images we have been able to capture over the last 3 weeks of being back in business.
