Weekly Update - 4th September 2017
Hello Spring! Last week has seen the last of Winters bad weather and we’re gearing up for an exciting Kaikōura Summer, with the marina getting closer and closer to completion as we send this week’s update out! We’re looking forward to bringing back our three boats from Wellington and reuniting all four of our whale watching vessels home, here in Kaikōura.
A Look Back Over July 2017
Kaikōura is as beautiful as ever in July, marking the middle of winter which brought with it snow and hail storms as well as days of clear blue skies with the sun in its full glory.
Weekly Update - 10th July 2017
Last week we had some amazing days out on the water viewing our semi-resident sperm whales Aoraki, Tutu and Tiaki as well as other sperm whales visiting the area. Humpback whales have continued to be sighted on our tours most days, with their annual migration heading north to warmer waters bringing them through the Hikurangi Trench just off the coast of Kaikōura.
